Hello,
Are you attending the Job Corps? That is a great place to get Security training. The more training you are seeking, the longer it takes, but it should result in a higher paying position when you graduate can lead to a job with TSA, Border Patrol or some other law enforcement type of career. Many private companies hire security staff as well. While at the Job Corps you should try to get as much training as possible and advanced training if offered. Stay focused and avoid negative influences and you will do well.

Hello Tyler,
You're the ideal mentor for me, yet my forte lies in economics, which limits my ability to provide guidance. But from my personal experience there are some industry-specific Expertise:
-Casino Security Manager - Specialize in gaming surveillance and fraud detection
-Embassy Security Manager - Oversee day-to-day security operations at the embassy, ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.
-Corporate Security Analyst (Banking Security) - Advanced roles in risk management and threat assessment.
-Healthcare Security Director - Focus on hospital and medical facility security.
-Airport Security Management - Manage daily security activities to ensure the safety of passengers, staff, and facilities.
I hope it helps!
May blessings always be upon you!

It varies from job to job. The most important thing is to do the job as best you can. Arrive for your shift 10 minutes early, always take time to make sure your attire looks good and neat, act in a professional manner and stay focused - don’t let anything distract you from your work. Trust me, you will get noticed. It’s just like any other profession, show your supervisors that you’re a good worker and that you are dedicated to doing the job and they should recognize that. if they don’t, then maybe think about another employer. Gaining job experience is the key to advancement. You have to put in the time so be patient.
