The vast majority of the skills needed are the same for most any job; calm under pressure, efficient, reliable, professional, etc.
A good understanding of anatomy and bio-medical word parts will be helpful to have. You can also get grown up coloring books of anatomy. It helps to have a good sense of spatial reasoning, but I've known good Techs without that (but they did have to work harder). But what makes a good Tech is also what makes a good worker in most industries.
You could get a job (or volunteer) in a healthcare setting to get used to that environment or in a customer service role to get used to remaining professional while patient aren't. Those two things could really help a new Tech. If a Tech comes in without any experience in heatlhcate nor customer service they have to learn those while also learning the Tech specific tasks.

Most high schools offer college courses while in high school. Take advantage of this. Go to an x-ray center or hospital and ask if you can shadow someone. At least you'll get a chance to see if that's what you want for a career. They will be able to advise you.
