How can I effectively prepare myself financially prior to entering dental school?

I've applied to some scholarships but haven't heard back and am very nervous at the moment. Are there any resources you recommend?

To my knowledge, there are very few scholarships available for dental school. I personally did the Health Professional Scholarship Program through the military to pay for my dental school. I have no regrets and it was a wonderful experience all the way around. This really took a lot of stress off of me to not have to worry about financial burdens of student loans. I also held a part-time job leading up to dental school and throughout dental school to help offset any miscellaneous costs. I was able to graduate debt free. Best of luck to you.
