Hey Samantha!

I totally get it! The hardest part about being a writer is dealing with self-doubt and rejection it’s tough, but it’s part of the process. Staying motivated during slow days can also be challenging, especially since writing is often solitary. Plus, handling the business side of things like marketing and contracts can add extra stress. But, if you're passionate about writing, you’ll push through these challenges and grow! Just keep writing and take it one step at a time.

Good Luck!

I personal opinion, when you suddenly have no idea what to write about, like writers block. Gaining confidence in your work and then of course getting your work out there so you can slowly build a fan base..
Know what you want your story to be about.
I received advice that if you have a awesome imagination to 1st think of and title for your book and build around that. Very good advice cause the title will inspire especially when suffering with writers block..

Richard’s Answer

Being scared of facing new challenges is what life is all about. It’s okay. Go ahead and embrace it.
If you have a career path laid out, follow it. A writing sideline can develop later as you gain experience in life. I’ll tell you up front that making a good living being an author is not easy. It takes years of work. Enjoy writing as a pastime. Take writing classes at college. Submit articles to newspapers, like opinion pieces and local interest stories. Submit stories to magazines and competitions. Find a writing group with similar interests. Check with your local library they are a wonderful resource. Above all enjoy the writing experience and the worlds you can create, bounded only by the limits of your imagination.

Vathsala’s Answer

The toughest part of being a writer is that some people will love your work, while others will criticize it. Writers should focus on sharing their ideas clearly, without being biased or judgmental. It's important to back up your points with facts and real-life examples, rather than imagination. Always consider the good and bad sides of what you're sharing.

Juanita’s Answer

The hardest part of being a writer is the criticism you will face. You need to look part the negativity, especially when you know that what you have written is great. Being a writer is about confidence and perseverance. You need to be willing to push for at least a couple of years if you want to be successful, and once your name is in the minds of your readers, then you are on your way. Some of the other challenges you might face, is deciding between self-publishing or working with an agent to traditionally publish your book. There are pros and cons to both of these options which you would need to weigh before you finish your first book.
I also agree with the answer Richard has given you. Start practicing and getting your work in front of people who can help you build your career and your portfolio. When you send in articles or short stories, and you receive the feedback, take it and learn from it. It will help you become a better writer in the future. Another tip I have is to never stop learning. Writing and being an author is an evolving industry, which means that styles and requirements change. You should be able to adapt to these changes, so your work can stay relevant. And remember, there is nothing like a bad niche. Sure enough, romance and young adult books are all the rage right now, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't consider other niches as well. I personally love horror and that is why I decided to start a horror series, and I have had great success with it. You need to find what you are passionate about and run with it. You can also decide to write self-help or other non-fiction books if you would rather like to help people and teach them something new. The possibilities are endless, especially when you start out young.
Don't let anything hold you back! If you want to become a writer and a best-selling author, then start now. Start refining your skill and learning new ones. And one more piece of advice I have, start learning how to edit. This will save you a lot of money because you won't need to send your work for multiple rounds of editing and proofreading.
I hope this helps

I will give my take and tips I think you should take along:
Be unique but learn what works.
Not every body would accept the way you write but if you love what you're doing and you are seeing results, you are good to go.
The writer's space is enough for us all so be creative.
And lastly, a mentor will make the journey faster and smoother. You won't have the time to learn everything you need to know all at once.
