Which career would suit me based on the way I think and what I enjoy.?
One thing I've noticed is that I'm fairly good at reading people's emotions and picking up on how they're feeling, even when they don't say it directly. I'm also naturally curious about why people think and behave the way they do. If I could, I'd love to understand the mind of the person in front of me. I love mythology a lot and love learning about different myths(got this love from Percy Jackson) Another thing about me is that I rarely accept an idea at face value. Whenever I support a statement, I almost immediately start thinking of its weaknesses. After a minute or two of deep thought, I can usually come up with a convincing argument against it. Then I often find myself questioning that argument too, creating another opposing statement. And the series of contradictions goes on. Plus, I love those high and mighty rivalry talks you mostly get to see between enemies and all. Makes me feel royal- and I love feeling royal. I am fairly good at academics, but I tend to forget it easily. And I particularly don't like Science much. Because in physics and chemistry, most of the things aren't very clear; I am still unable to get the meaning of velocity(How does distance play a role in it...So I take it as speed in displacement) Outside of academics, I love reading manga, manhwa, and books, especially fantasy, science fiction, psychological, and mystery stories. I also enjoy anime—both mainstream series and those with deeper psychological or philosophical themes. I'm drawn to stories that explore complex characters, moral dilemmas, and human nature more than series that only contain battles. Some of them I love are: Percy Jackson, A Song of Ice and Fire, One Piece, Tokyo Revengers, Naruto, Tomodachi Games and thousands of others.But, I am no good at drawing. I'm especially interested in psychology, human behaviour, and understanding how people think. I would love to read the mind of the person in front of me. One thing I know for sure is that I don't want a job where I spend the entire day sitting alone reading or reviewing long documents, reports or graphs(I hate statistics). I have considered careers like a detective specialised in psychology, a forensic psychologist, an author and all. I would love a career with some adventure. Based on this, what careers do you think would genuinely fit my personality, strengths, and interests? I'm looking for suggestions beyond the obvious ones like "psychologist,"(I could consider it, but it's not the best one) especially careers that involve analysis, investigation, strategy, behaviour, or decision-making. Also, the career should have a good salary. But please, try to recommend me a career that would be kind of adventorous for me, one that I would enjoy.
How do you get into the game industry as a writer?
I have considered writing video game narratives and storylines as a career, but I haven't found much on how to enter that industry without having knowledge on coding and/or starting by creating your own game.
How can I choose the right job or college to catered towards what I want to do for my career to be an Author?
I am 19, I graduated high-school last year. I was class of 2025 in June. My original plan was to attend college like everyone and my parents wanted. I did online but things got hectic for me so I left. I've never had a job. I know that writing is my passion. I would love to become an Author one day. But I still unfortunately struggle to get a job because well what I've been taught is that I need a degree or start from just any random job just so I could be successful. But it stresses me because something I learned about myself is I am not interested in school as much. I know I want to learn but I want to decide my success for itself because I always let what everyone says affect what I do. I just want advice on how I can find a decent job or school that I like without compromising what I want to do. I know my success is not the same as anyone else's but the point is that I want to do something I love for the rest of my life, not something I hate.
What advice would you give to a teen author and musician?
So, I am an author with published writing, and I have gotten amazing scores on singing. I want to make a small career out of my music hobby, and I currently am writing a book. So, authors or musicians, what should I do?
What’s it like being in publishing?
I’ve been looking into a career that I would genuinely enjoy. I’ve recently been looking into publishing, I’ve always really enjoyed reading and books in general. I would also really enjoy being an author as a side job and then being in the publishing business as a main and stable income. If anyone in publishing, sees this I was just wondering, what a day-to-day may look like, what college degrees you may need, if you needed any experience or internships, and where you worked? I am in the process of creating courses for aspiring writers that cover a range of topics from grammar to world building. The goal is to give learners the full spectrum of how to write their book and the different things they will need to consider. How do I find the right combination of plot ideas?
I don't know the exact saying, but I think it's something about how all stories are used, just with different characters and settings. I don't know all the combinations, but I really want to look for some that really stands out. Sometimes I don't know what the "plot" is called, especially if I like it. How can I find more about plots? (I'm looking for unique ones [I also know plots can't be too wacky or least relatable, otherwise the viewer won't understand it], but iconic ones are cool too. I don't know how to make it unique and cool. I know plots are vague and authors tune it to their own (example: overcoming the monster can be emotion or literal), but I have characters and I don't even know my plot!

How do I start?
I started writing this book in eighth grade for fun, and I forgot about it for a while. Then, when I decided I might try becoming a writer, I told my friends about this short story, and my friends told me to finish it. They are very encouraging, but I don't know what to do. And even if I did finish it, how would I be able to publish it? The theme of my story is Fantasy, and I'm currently on page 10 of this book.
