How can I get better at editing?
I love writing and reading very much; however, I really need help when it comes to expanding my knowledge of editing my writing. How can I achieve that? Additionally, some tips on improving grammar could also be helpful.

What’s it like being in publishing?
I’ve been looking into a career that I would genuinely enjoy. I’ve recently been looking into publishing, I’ve always really enjoyed reading and books in general. I would also really enjoy being an author as a side job and then being in the publishing business as a main and stable income. If anyone in publishing, sees this I was just wondering, what a day-to-day may look like, what college degrees you may need, if you needed any experience or internships, and where you worked? I am in 12th grade, I do not have an excess of money to pay for an editing service, so I am looking for quality but cheaper alternatives to traditional/bigger editing services.

Can I be a self distributing author?
What are the requirements to be a self distributing author. Everyone so far has been going the Amazon or lulu route. I want to build my own website and sell my book via my own website. I want to be able to buy my book in bulk (which I have not figured out yet) I want to be able to package and distribute. So I get all the profit. I control all of the marketing and my book can feel like my own. is this a good idea?

What would be something good to major in for a writer. I'm only in the 10th grade but I would like to graduate early so I would like to think about this. I write things from as small as poems and short stories, to books with 30 pages.
