How can I get my novel published traditionally and find a publisher and editors that suit me financially and professionally and with my art?

I am 16 years old (a junior in high school) and have been writing my since I was 3 years old. I wrote my first novel in 3rd grade and have dreamed about being a published author for so long. My goal right now is to get published by the time I graduate or the summer of my freshman year of college. I am currently working on developing my first draft of my manuscript. I don’t have a developmental editor yet but I am hoping to find one that I can afford and can help me meet my goals.

Publish Stats report?

I have a 20 page statistical report that I crafted from the data collected from my area on nutritional intake and my hypothesis was looking into relations between household income and dietary quality of the residents. I met the statistical conditions for the data to be credible and reliable, and presented the study to a group of judges for my high school's senior project. I'm looking for any well known journal sites that are free to publish and also accept a stats report (as known, research papers are the ones that are widely accepted when compared to stats report, so having some issues finding one). Kindly let me know if there are any!

What’s it like being in publishing?

I’ve been looking into a career that I would genuinely enjoy. I’ve recently been looking into publishing, I’ve always really enjoyed reading and books in general. I would also really enjoy being an author as a side job and then being in the publishing business as a main and stable income. If anyone in publishing, sees this I was just wondering, what a day-to-day may look like, what college degrees you may need, if you needed any experience or internships, and where you worked? Also what role you have in the business/which role you would recommend?

What did your process of becoming a journalist or editor look like, and how long did it take you?

Hi! I am looking to be a journalistic editor in the future, and I am very curious as to what some people's journeys have been on this route. It seems to be very non-linear, but writing is my passion, and I have loved being the editor of my school's magazine this past year, so I would like to know. Thank you for the help!

Where can I submit my writing for feedback and potential opportunities?

Hi everyone, I live in Kentucky and have a deep passion for writing. I write songs (especially in the country music space), blog, and enjoy storytelling on topics like self-help, sports, and life experiences. I’ve had a unique and interesting life, giving me a distinct perspective in my writing. However, I only have a high school diploma. I attended college but couldn’t finish due to medical reasons, and I don’t have the financial means to go back now. I’m in my 50s and wondering: - Where can I submit a few stories or songs to get constructive feedback? - Are there any opportunities for someone like me to be taken seriously as a writer, even without a degree or formal experience? - What platforms or resources might help me get my work noticed? I’d appreciate any advice on getting my foot in the door as a writer. Thanks in advance! *Note: This is an anonymous question submitted by a member of the CareerVillage community.

How do I get published internationally as a minor?

I'm 14 and working on a few stories and want to get them published one day (under a pseudonym). I live in the Philippines and doubt that it would get much attention here, but I think it could sell more in countries like the US or mainly-English-speaking countries in general. Should I self-publish? Look for an agent? Go to publishers? How do I market my stories?

I wanted to do a research paper on how water quality affects the human body and causes specific things to happen. However I’m only a tenth grader in high school and was confused on how to get started with it I was also wondering if I could publish this research paper so the work doesn’t go to waste? I know this kind of research was already done but I just wanted to see it for myself in my specific area.?

I was going to start with sampling water in different buildings around where I live but I can’t figure out how to do it beyond that.
