Hi Rachael,
The most rewarding part of being a social worker is knowing that your work helps people through difficult times. I do believe you have to have the heart for it. However, you get to support individuals and families, help connect them with resources, and see the positive impact your work can have on their lives. It is a great way to contribute to the well-being of children and families.
