How did you find a career you're passionate about #Spring25?

I'm currently completing my first internship. I would love to learn how experienced professionals navigate their careers.

Treat every job as an opportunity to learn something - whether that's a new skill, a different mindset/perspective, or even deeper knowledge about yourself. Also, work can be hard, but that doesn't mean you can't find the fun. Entry level jobs can sometimes be particularly tough, because you're not yet able to do the "really interesting" things that come with experience. In those situations in particular, look for ways to enjoy the work and focus on what you're trying to get out of the experience.

As you start your career, be open to possibilities and prioritize figuring out that magical combination of what you LOVE to do, what you're GREAT at, what there is a market NEED FOR, and what you can MAKE A LIVING by doing. You likely won't find that right away, but that's ok. The goal is to always be moving toward that objective and shape what and how you do that as you go.

Ankita’s Answer

I found what I love by trying different jobs and learning as I went. Every experience showed me what I liked and what I didn’t. Your career won’t be a straight path, but if you stay curious and open, you’ll find what fits you best. Try different options, follow what brings you joy and excitement, and see where you feel eager to keep learning.
