What part of your college experience so far has felt like it'd be in a film? #Spring25
Hey everyone! I'm a senior in high school and getting ready to start college in the fall. I know every experience is different and movies usually are too good to be true.
However, just for fun, for those of you in college or already graduated, what was your “this feels like a movie” moment? Could be something comedic, emotional, romantic, or an eye opening memory. Would love to hear your stories!

I started college almost 25 years after graduating from High School, if that is not a comedy, I don´t know what it would be. I have loved every moment of it and I expect to have more fond memories in the future.

Hi Ysabelle,
Really cool question! I know everyone has their own experience with their college years, both including the good and bad, like earning a scholarship or getting a low grade in class. I would say that there are many little moments when college life feels like this is something from the movies.
The first one is getting to know the new, unfamiliar place, all the school buildings, and you get to walk around and discover the nice restaurants, stores and cafes where you'll most likely stay for hours inside to finish homework!
The second one is moving in the dorms, if you are planning to, this may just take a few minutes but entering your new home, and into your new bedroom is a pretty exciting experience! You get to decorate your room however you want, maybe have a view of the streets or you can see your school building from your window.
Another one is meeting new people, including where your classes are located and meeting your new classmates and professors. You get to meet people from different places around the world and learn about their culture!
The last one is finally having time to go out after a long week of school, you meet up with friends or your parents and just relax, walk around the city, have a nice meal, see a movie, chat about your college life.
These types of moments can seem normal and already expected, but these are also when you make memories with friends and your loved ones! I hope once you begin your journey, you get to enjoy all the fun things happening around you and not only focus on classes! Good luck!
