Don't stress about that for your first job! Include any life experience that is relevant, such as volunteering, school projects, clubs, sports, supporting siblings or family members, etc. Also include accolade, awards, and recognition you've received. Concentrate on listing the skills you have that are transferrable to this job at Wendy's or other positions that you're interested in. I once interviewed a candidate who told me about a family reunion that he helped plan and coordinate, which demonstrated his ability to project manage and organize, collaborate, execute based on a strict timeline, communicate, inform and follow-up on expectations, and make sure the primary customer (his uncle) was satisfied. That was an excellent example and showed me that the candidate had strong potential to perform the role we were interviewing him for.

Hi Tedrick!

Great news! Many fast food places understand they're often the first job for young people. Instead of worrying about work experience, highlight your skills. Mention any special school projects or awards you've earned. Besides your resume, try to meet the hiring manager at Wendy's for a chat. Meeting face-to-face can build a strong connection and lets you explain why this job is important to you. Be confident—you've got this!

You could change the section to Skills and Experience and list your soft skills that you have developed and are currently using in school. Things like organization, active listening, teamwork, time management, critical thinking, adaptability, positive attitude, quick learner.

I don't think anyone is expecting a 15 year old to have an extensive work history!! Instead, focus on some of your school achievements/experience, extracurriculars, or even skills that would make sense for someone your age. If you are good at communicating, following instructions and learning new processes, list that! If you have been a team captain of your soccer team (or anything else - you get the idea), list it! But definitely don't worry about not having work history at your age. Good luck!
