Hi Jamira,
Given your passion for art and soccer, you could pursue 3 types of careers:
- Creative & Artistic careers
- Graphic Designer
- Illustrator / Concept Artist
- Animator (2D/3D)
- Art Director
- Game Designer (especially for sports-themed games)
- Tattoo Artist
- Sports & Athletic careers
- Professional or Semi-Pro Athlete
- Coach or Trainer (youth, school, or club levels)
- Sports Psychologist (requires further education)
- Physical Therapist / Athletic Trainer
- Sports Agent / Manager
- Event Coordinator for Sports Organizations
- Creative-Sports Fusion roles
- Sports Videographer / Photographer
- Sports Graphic Designer (logos, merchandise, digital content)
- Social Media Content Creator for Sports Brands
- Illustrator or Animator for Sports Publications or Games
If you're really into art, those creative/artistic roles were matched as you being able to thrive in fields requiring consistent creative output and skill refinement. If you're really into sports like soccer, those sports/athletic roles could drive you to succeed in performance-based or supportive roles in sports. However, if you want to combine your passion for art and soccer, the hybrid roles are crossover opportunities for you to look into.
To refine your direction, just ask yourself these questions:
-Do you enjoy working with people, or do you prefer independent work?
-Are you interested in physical activity as a career, or more as a hobby?
-Would you rather create things, analyze things, or help others grow?
I hope this helps you out as you do your career planning!

Hi Jamira,
This is a great question, and you have a lot of good interests. With dedication as your strength, you'll certainly make sure you achieve your goals! If you like both art and sports, perhaps you could choose a career that combines the two. An art career I can consider is becoming a sports photographer if you enjoy taking photos. You could take pictures of action-packed moments in sports, or behind the scenes pictures of athletes at work.
Another area you may want to explore is becoming a soccer coach or art teacher. As Lokman mentioned, you can also become a sports management or marketing professional to combine your creativity with the sports world.
You could also choose to explore both fields in different ways. I'm an athlete and artist myself, and although tennis doesn't have art as its main focus, I do enjoy creating art in my free time. To help tennis connect with my art, I create a blog about the journey I've taken in tennis and what I've learned from the sport. On the blog, I also share my art, music, and writing. So, you have the option to do art in your free time and make your main career sports, or vice versa.
Whichever choice you make, I wish you all the best in your journey!

Many jobs are being outsourced or becoming less important due to technology. However, one job that will always be in demand is coaching. Good coaches can earn a good income, and it's very fulfilling to watch your students improve. If you love coaching, especially helping young people perform better, I suggest considering a career in it.

I think it depends on the kinds of art you're most interested in. Depending on the industry, things can get very specific! Working in animation, for example, can mean a lot of different things. If you like to draw, then you could get involved in pre-vis, which is made up of several different stages like character design, story art, and storyboarding; and each of them have their own design principles to keep in mind. Same applies to other mediums like 3D modeling, simulation, editing, etc. which all have their own little niches. And that only scratches the surface of the DIGITAL realm! There's so many ways for traditional, multimedia, and experimental artists to shine in animation, too.
What's your medium of choice? Traditional? Digital? Video? Carpentry? You don't have to just pick one btw
For visual examples, look up the games "Cuphead" and "The Midnight Walk." All the art/animation for the former were done traditionally, while the latter is stop-motion. Games like these create more opportunities for different skillsets in an environment that's largely digital and favors realism.

That’s a great mix of strengths and hobbies! I played soccer my whole life too and ended up working as a Business Intelligence Analyst, so your path can go in many directions.
Since you're dedicated and enjoy art and soccer, you might enjoy careers in: Design or art (like graphic design or product design), Sports-related fields (like coaching, fitness, or sports marketing), and even business or tech jobs where problem-solving and focus matter
You’re only in 10th grade, so just keep exploring, trying new things, and building on what you enjoy. Your dedication will take you far no matter what you choose. I never imagined I would end up where I am at when I was in 10th grade so just enjoy the process and trust your gut.
