Wong’s Answer

Hi Elijah. Being a teacher is a job full of both challenges and rewards. Every day brings something new, and no two classes are ever the same.

The worst part of being a teacher is often the workload outside the classroom. Many people think teachers just work during school hours, but that is not true. There are lessons to prepare, papers to grade, and meetings to attend. Sometimes the paperwork and administrative tasks can feel overwhelming. On top of that, dealing with behavior issues in the classroom can be stressful, especially when students refuse to listen or cause distractions. These challenges can make the job feel draining.

The best part of teaching, however, is seeing students grow and succeed. Teachers get to witness the moment when a student finally understands something that once felt impossible. Those small victories, like a student smiling after solving a tough problem, make the hard work worth it. Many teachers also feel proud when former students return to say thank you or share their achievements. Knowing that you made a difference in someone's life is one of the greatest rewards of the job.

The easiest part of teaching might be sharing knowledge about a subject you love. Teachers often have a passion for their field, whether it is math, science, art, or history. Talking about these topics and helping students learn new ideas can feel natural and enjoyable.

The hardest part of teaching is balancing everything at once. Teachers must manage large classes, meet deadlines, support students' emotional needs, and still try to maintain their own well-being. Yet despite the challenges, many teachers continue because the rewards outweigh the struggles.

Hi Elijah,

Worst part: Many teachers say it can be tough dealing with limited resources, strict policies, or heavy workloads. Sometimes the paperwork and administrative tasks take time away from actually teaching.

Best part: The most rewarding thing is seeing students grow, gain confidence, and succeed. Teachers often say that moment when a student finally “gets it” is what makes the hard work worth it.

Easiest part: For those who love their subject, sharing knowledge and talking about what they’re passionate about comes naturally—it doesn’t feel like work.

Hardest part: Balancing the needs of many different students at once. Every student learns differently, so figuring out how to help everyone can be very challenging.

If you’re thinking about becoming a teacher, remember that it’s a career full of challenges, but also full of impact. The joy of shaping someone’s future often outweighs the difficulties.

Ahtesham’s Answer

Being a teacher is truly rewarding because you get to see students grow and have those "aha" moments, knowing you played a part in boosting their confidence. While the workload outside the classroom, like grading and paperwork, can be challenging, it’s all part of the journey.

For many, the easiest part is building connections with students and fostering a positive classroom environment. The toughest part can be staying patient and motivated when students lose interest or when challenges like limited resources make progress seem tough.

Teaching can be tiring but the sense of purpose and the impact you make keep you going, even on the hardest days.

Jane’s Answer

I’m a teacher too, and from my experience the worst part of being a teacher is the stress that comes with it, the constant talking, explanations and the rest, the hardest part is teaching students till they understand no matter how much time it takes, because at the end of the day it’s your job and you have a duty to fulfill. The best part is seeing the results after the stress, seeing someone you taught do well in exams, practicals and in life because as teachers we don’t just give students knowledge on different subjects and all, we impact in their lives too. The easiest thing is be there for them when they need you to, you can’t be a teacher if you think it’s all about teaching, you have to see them like family and if you see them like family being there for them becomes easy.
