How can I secure a future for myself and others that i care about?
In regards to funds, academic performance, and securing a prosperity of resources.

Discover what you love and go after it with enthusiasm. Make sure to save a little from every paycheck—think of it as paying yourself first. Set aside some money for your future in a retirement account. And most importantly, enjoy life!

Securing a future for yourself and others you care about requires some form of income. Choose a career path that interests you and resonates with you. As you begin earning your income, it's important to set aside a portion of that income for the future. It requires discipline, but often times it simply requires taking the initiative to set it up. For example, setting up automatic withdrawals and distributions to certain accounts is a great first step to setting aside income and watching it grow for your future. Securing a future for you starts with you and your actions. It doesn't mean you need to live a boring or unfulfilling life, it just requires you to give each dollar a purpose and to be mindful and responsible for what each dollar is doing. Before you can secure a future for others, I think you need to at least prove to yourself that you can secure a future for you. And naturally, the rest will follow.

Adrian, feeling secure can mean different things to different people. For me, it meant picking a career with lots of options. That's why I chose accounting. Every company needs an accountant, whether as a staff member or a contractor. This opens up many chances for interviews and even starting your own business one day.
