Hi Alexander. Biology is an interesting subject because it helps you understand how living things work, but it can also be challenging. With good study habits, time management, and a positive attitude, you can do really well.

First, you need to build a strong base while you're still in high school. Take classes in biology, chemistry, and math to prepare for college-level science. You can also watch science videos or read short articles online to learn about topics like cells and genetics. This will make college biology classes easier to understand later on.

When you start college, it's very important to manage your time well. Biology classes often include lectures, labs, and sometimes research projects. Make a schedule to keep track of homework, lab reports, and exams. Don't wait until the last minute to study. Review your notes every few days, and try to explain what you learned to someone else as this is one of the best ways to remember things. Joining a study group can also help you learn faster and stay motivated.

Another great way to grow as a biology student is to get involved in research. Many colleges let students help professors with lab work or field studies. This gives you hands-on experience and helps you decide which part of biology you like most. It's also a great way to meet mentors and build connections for the future.

Most importantly, stay curious and passionate. Biology is a huge field with many different paths. Keep exploring and learning about what interests you most. With effort, curiosity, and a good attitude, you can do well in college and set yourself up for a successful career in biology. All the best.

Hi Alexander,

Discovering your "Why" can be a game-changer!

Think about the times in your life when you felt really proud and knew you made a difference. Were you helping someone or doing something meaningful?

Do you cherish values like honesty, growth, creativity, or service?

Are you passionate about helping a community, a person, or a cause?

Who do you dream of inspiring?

Once you identify why you're dedicating so much effort to your degree, it will fuel your motivation to keep moving forward.

You've got this!
