What are chemistry internships looking for if you don't have any experience in a lab to offer?

I'm applying for internships for the first time, but this will be the first of my actual lab experience (outside of required course material). How do I work with the experience I do have, and what experience would be most valuable?

Even though you have no lab experience, showing passion may matter. In this case, motivation, interest, science project, science fair, introductory chemistry, and AP chemistry, as well as basic computer skills, technology, attention to detail, and teamwork, could be considered skills.
