What are the most important skills in radiology to be successful?

I am graduating in may of 2026, and plan to go into the radiology field to be a rad tech. Any tips given would be very appreciated.

Hi Hannah,

There are of course the technical skills that you'll learn in school, but to be a really great rad tech, empathy, listening to the patient, communication and generally good bedside manners are so important.
