Hi Jayden. You need to look for programs that let you learn by doing. The best entrepreneurship programs give students chances to work on real business ideas, join startup competitions, or create small projects that solve real problems. Check if the college offers classes where you practice pitching, teamwork, market research, and business planning. These practical experiences are much more valuable than learning everything from a textbook. You want a place that encourages you to experiment, try new ideas, and learn from mistakes.

You should also pay attention to the support system the school provides. Good programs often have startup incubators, innovation labs, or entrepreneurship centers where students can get help from mentors, business owners, and guest speakers. A strong support system can help you feel more confident and give you advice when you're unsure about your ideas. You should check if the college has connections with local businesses, investors, or successful alumni. These networks can help you get internships, find partners, or even get funding for a project later on.

Additionally, you should look into what kinds of classes and resources are available to undergraduates. A strong entrepreneurship major should include more than just "how to start a business.." You'll want access to classes in marketing, finance, design, management, technology, and communication. These subjects help you understand different parts of running a business. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Rebecca’s Answer

Hi, thank you for your question. I am glad to know that you would like to become an entrepreneur.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Have you thought about what industry you would like to start your business? Consider something you have strength or you have interest.
2. Do you analysis on the business eg entry criteria, competition status, any alternative or substitute, etc.
3. Attend industry related courses and management courses
4. Work in the industry some time to understand the business model and establish people network
5. Start the business online first if possible
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
