How do I get a job while still being involved in sports and volunteer work?
For context, I live in a small town with arguably no where to work except for fast food restaurants. I am 17 and I have experience working in a kitchen but i’m afraid i won’t get any hours when I can’t work past 9 and my practices end at 6pm. I also have sport events on Saturdays normally.

I would check with your coaches and advisors for possible work study position located on campus.
The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program is designed to assist undergraduate and graduate students with financial need by providing them with part-time jobs. These jobs can be on-campus or off-campus and are typically related to the student's field of study or community service.
The program is funded by the federal government, but participating colleges and universities manage the distribution of funds and job placements.
I have seen many athletes have work study or part time positions on campus. So this might be an option to investigate.
