Hello Ellie,
Your question is right up my alley, and you're a fantastic mentor for me, even though I focus on accounting. I've been inspired by a book called "Drive" by Daniel Pink, and I have some thoughts to share.
First, being a pessimist usually lowers what psychologists call "subjective well-being." However, pessimists often excel in law because this mindset can make them more effective.
Second, companies thrive on positive exchanges. When I sell you something you enjoy, we both benefit. In contrast, justice often involves a win-lose scenario, where one person's gain is another's loss.
Lastly, lawyers face constant demands with limited decision-making freedom. This lack of autonomy can lead to frustration, as they don't have much control over their work.
Regarding technology and innovation from my international perspective I cannot help you a lot because A.I for my country is still a new tool. For us there is still lack in experience in relation with technology.
I hope these insights are helpful and may blessing always be upon you!

Hi Ellie: I am an old guy and tech is NOT my strong suit. However, I am working on a brief and got to use Westlaw with AI. It was amazing! In law school I worked at Lexis/Nexis (the first computer reporting service). I was there in the early days. This Westlaw AI blew that away! The AI aspect was amazing.
Technology is changing many things - including farming in Idaho. It is best to try to keep up with it the best you can.
I have a wierd suggestion. Sorry I can't help with the cheerleading however, art presents interesting possibilities. Artest need copyright protection, contracts for sales and protection against fraud. I don't know how serious yoou are about art but you may want to think about combining your two passions.
Worth thinkong about! Good luck.
