What do I do when I apply to a college I end up not wanting to go to anymore?
I applied to mutlipe schools but I actually want to go to my local community college and then transfer after 2 years. I did apply to my first choice but what do I do about all the other ones?

I agree with Karin — you can withdraw your application if the school allows it, or just wait and politely decline if you get accepted. There’s nothing wrong with keeping your options open. And honestly, starting at a community college for the first two years is a path a lot of people take. It’s usually much more affordable, gives you time to figure out your major, and makes transferring into a four‑year college later a lot easier. I never moved away for school either, so I completely understand wanting to stay close to home. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with choosing the option that feels right for you and your future.

Hi Destini,
Check if there is an option to withdraw your application. If not, you can send an e-mail to the schools you are not interested in any more.
You can also just let it play out and politely decline if you get accepted by a school you don't want to go to. That way you keep your options open in case you change your mind later.
I hope this helps! All the best to you!
