How do most people who leave the work force to go back to school maintain an income while being a student #Fall25?

This may seem like a silly question but I'm about to take a big leap and leave my 9-6 job I've had for 3.5 years to become a full-time student. I'm planning on applying to part-time jobs but the financial risk is so scary! How do people do it?!

Here are some steps you can take to balance work and education:

1. Keep your day job and attend evening classes.
2. Enroll in day classes and find an evening job at places like call centers, warehouses (Amazon), or restaurants.
3. Join a work-study program where you work for your college, and part of your pay goes toward tuition. These jobs often let you study while working.
4. Consider moving back with your parents to reduce living expenses while you study.
5. Think about joining the military. You can use the GI Bill for education after service, and sometimes you can take classes while serving.

Balancing work and school is challenging, but you can achieve it. Good luck!
