Where do I begin? Am I on the right path?
Hello, I am a senior in school who is also working towards an associate in science degree at my local community college. I currently play basketball for my high school, and I am open to playing in the future. While I am in school, I am working towards getting my law degree and one day be able to help people who are in need of law services, and they do not want to go thru legal aid or cannot go thru legal aid.
Here recently I have been looking into going into sports management. Having a background in sports, and wanting to go into law, I was thinking about going into sports management right along the same lines as Jalen Hurts management team. My question is, do you think by continuing with my law degree, after completing it would be an easy transition to sports management? In reading if it would be a difficult transition, I found that they are intertwined with each other because sports law is a collection of legal disciplines like contracts, labor, and intellectual property law.
Going down the path I have chosen, would it be a difficult transition to go from attorney/ lawyer to having a sports management team?

I'd suggest you get your AA degree and transfer credits to the college of your choice. After college look at Elon Law - offers interesting programs. In law school you'll get a chance to see all the different fields law has to offer. You may want to ditch sports management and go into tax law. Time will tell!
Good luck!
