Good for you for looking to babysit Sophia!
My recommendations to get the word out is the following;
1) become a qualified babysitter
the most crucial credentials are First Aid & CPR certification, pediatric-focused, as this shows emergency preparedness, with basic babysitting courses (like from the American Red Cross or Safe Sitter)
2) good references significantly boost your credibility with parents.
3) volunteer to help watch children in your community ( church, family friends)
4) get the word out in your neighborhood that you are looking for babysitting jobs and that you are qualified. Put together a flyer and place in your neighbors mailboxes.
First Aid and CPR training
Volunteer to babysit
Put together a flyer outlining your interest in babysitting and qualifications & distribute in neighborhood

Hi Sophia,
It is great that you are looking for your first job. At your age, family, neighbors and family friends are usually your best bet to find your first clients. Once you have a bit of experience and positive feedback, word-of-mouth often times gets the ball rolling.
Use the networks you have to advertise your services, e.g. through school, your parents' employment and the neighborhood. You can make a flyer and distribute it in your area by either going house-to-house, leaving them at a notice board at a community center, a shopping center or a fast-food joint (if they allow it). If you have active Facebook or other social media groups in your area, you can offer your services there as well.
To build your business going into the future, look for babysitting classes in your area, e.g. from the Red Cross:
https://www.redcross.org/local/michigan/take-a-class/babysitting
Additionally, CPR and First Aid training would also be helpful. It gives parents looking for childcare options some reassurance that you know what you are doing and can deal with the unexpected.
I hope this helps! All the best to you!
