I'm interested in physical therapy, what science class should I take?

To get into a physical therapy graduate program, you need to meet certain requirements. Most programs ask you to study chemistry, biology, physics, anatomy, and physiology during your undergraduate years. If you can take these subjects in high school, it will help you when you study them in college. Since admission to these programs is very competitive, it's important to get good grades in your college science classes. Starting these subjects early in high school can improve your chances of success in college. Best of luck!

If it's available to you, anatomy & physiology! If you're in AP and can take the exams for college credit, definitely knock out your PT program prerequisites. PT school is a doctorate program in the US, so you will need a Bachelor's degree first, but I still recommend looking at colleges and seeing what their prerequisites are and knocking them out for college creds. They can be classes like Chemistry I and II, Anatomy & Physiology, Physics I and II.
