Hey!
That's completely alright!
A lot of people actually choose a degree that's entirely different from what they did in highschool.
Some even add another degree on top of their existing one - an engineering student would pursue masters in business as an add on.
So yes, you can do BBA for your degree.
The question of whether it will be easy or not depends entirely on your aptitude.
Because its a field you wont have a prior or base knowledge on, there's a lot to consider.
I recommend going through a business highschooler's text book, if you have the time, to check the contents more than asking a senior who switched - because there will be a difference between her aptitude and yours.
Do look up videos for the concepts and see how well you are able to understand them.
Since there are a lot of new subjects getting introduced in university, its better to take your time and search them up. There are also a lot of short certifications you can do, outside of a degree.
I recommend figuring out what exactly you want to work on - is it just the business field? is IT alright? do you want to do double major? and so on.
Choosing a course can be a tough decision, so don't rush.
Set your priorities straight - people opt for an IT or AI integration due to the emerging significance. So then you'll need to looking into Computer Science and IT.
You might have to take a foundational year - in fact, it might be better if you did, do you can avoid a burnout in the later years. So choose the university well as each offers different structure of education.
Wanting to pursue something different from what you've learned is a difficult decisions to make - so I wish you all the best!
I hope you find the right course for yourself!
