Hi Diego!
Wow, you've really grown a lot this past year! I didn't wrestle, but I did play basketball and volleyball when I was younger. I think a big part of getting better at any sport is understanding the game better. This means learning new techniques, mastering the basics, and always finding ways to improve. You can watch videos of your matches to spot areas for improvement, or talk to coaches, parents, and experienced people to get their advice.
Focus on things you can control, like your fitness and strength. Those quiet moments when you're working while others aren't, like early morning training or staying late, really make a difference. Kobe Bryant often said his success that was shown in sold-out arenas came from the hard work he did in empty gyms. You clearly have the drive to get better, and I know you'll do great! Keep up the awesome work and good luck this season!

Hi Diego, improving from 0-2 to 6-3 in one year is a significant accomplishment and shows your dedication. Weightlifting will help, but focus on functional strength and explosive movements like squats, deadlifts, cleans, and pull-ups since wrestling relies on power and leverage. It's also important to get as much mat time as possible during the off-season by joining a wrestling club, attending open mats, or participating in camps and clinics. Building conditioning with running, sprints, and circuit training will give you an edge in the later periods. Review your match footage to identify areas for improvement, and drill your go-to moves until they're automatic. Consistent effort in these areas will help you continue making progress next season. Keep the great work!
