Thank you for your question. You may need to find out what careers you have interest first.
Below are my suggestions :
1. There are many careers in Business, e.g. Accounting. Finance, Banking, Human Resources, Marketing, Administration, Trading, etc. You can find out more online
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Attend the information session hosts by Business department in colleges. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counsellor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to cursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges. Select the subjects in high school required by the entry criteria and work hard on your academic to meet the criteria
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Hello!
Great question! Any math classes are always beneficial. After working in banking for 17 years, I am most grateful for all the math classes that I took. They really helped prepare me for that mathematical mind. Often times in the banking field, you will have to calculate numbers very quickly , and having a strong math mind is so crucial. I would also recommend any classes in Civics, History, and Government. Often times the banking laws are changed and it is interesting to know the history of our banking process. It is also helpful to understand how and why these banking laws are passed. The financial crisis of 2009 was the reason for many of our laws today. Many of the big banks are also owned by powerful people who have a strong pull with our legislative branch of government, unfortunately. Maybe you can be the one to change this! I hope this gives a little insight! Best of luck to you!

Hi Kyle, since you're interested in a career in banking, there are several high school classes that will give you a strong foundation and a real head start in the financial industry. Math classes like algebra, statistics, and calculus are essential because banking revolves around numbers, interest rates, risk analysis, and financial modeling, so the stronger your math skills are now, the more confident you'll be later. Business and economics courses are incredibly valuable because they teach you how markets work, how businesses operate, and how money flows through the economy, which is the core of everything you'll do in banking. If your school offers accounting or personal finance classes, take them without hesitation because understanding balance sheets, budgets, and financial statements is a daily part of banking that many students don't get exposed to until college. Technology and computer science classes are also becoming more important than ever because modern banking relies heavily on data analysis, digital platforms, and financial software, so being tech savvy will set you apart from others entering the field. English and communication courses should not be overlooked either because bankers need to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and professional way, and strong writing and speaking skills will help you in interviews, presentations, and client relationships throughout your career. If your school offers any leadership, entrepreneurship, or math competition programs, those are also great opportunities to develop the problem solving and critical thinking skills that banks look for when hiring. You're already thinking in the right direction by connecting your classes to your career goals, and that kind of intentional planning is exactly what successful people in finance do every day. Hope this helps!

While I think all of the other recommendations are great, I would also consider taking more writing or communications classes. So many aspects of your job will be rooted in communication, either written or spoke, and having a solid basis in these classes will greatly prep you for your career. Good luck!
