Hi Shaya,
To create unique and engaging ideas for games, shows, or movies that people want to buy, start by exploring your genuine interests and turning everyday experiences into new concepts.
Pay attention to what excites or bothers you. For example, an awkward family dinner could inspire a game about a chaotic dinner party with different story paths. Mix different themes, like a detective story set in a candy land with clues hidden in sweets. Look at trends, too—cozy themes are popular, so think about creating a pet simulation game where choices affect the whole neighborhood.
Spend time with kids from various age groups and backgrounds; their curiosity can inspire your creativity.
Here's how to get started:
1. Carry a notebook and write down five "what if?" questions each day from things you see or read.
2. Explore three unrelated hobbies, like cooking, mythology, and puzzles, and spend 20 minutes writing about how they could connect.
3. Share your rough ideas with a small, trusted group each month to get feedback and improve them.
Stay focused on one idea until it develops fully. What personal experience could become your next story?
Good luck!

There's more to getting your content publicized and monetized than ideation.
For example - If you're a subject matter expert on gaming and you know the gamer community, and you know what games are getting the most play, and you have what you think is a great idea for a new game - you'll need to create a pilot episode and get it in front of the people who have the platform, funding and the interest in moving your game forward. Gaming, like all entertainment, is a business. There needs to be a compelling business reason for investing.
Good luck - it's a lot to take on.
