Hi Zachary,
Although it may seem as though the world is headed in this direction, I don’t believe that AI will or that it even can wipe out all tech careers, but it is already and will continue changing how some jobs are done. The best way to choose a stable path is to focus on roles that involve problem-solving, creativity, and working with people, not just repetitive tasks.
Fields like cybersecurity, data analysis, software development, and managing technology systems continue to grow. It also helps to stay open to learning new tools and adapting as technology changes. The goal is not to avoid AI, but to learn how to work with it.

Think of AI as a helpful assistant that supports you, but it can't replace your special human qualities like creativity and empathy. To stay ahead, aim for careers in areas like Product Management, Cybersecurity, or System Architecture, where making important decisions is crucial. If you become the creative thinker who guides the tools instead of just following instructions, you'll not only keep up with the AI changes—you'll be at the forefront. The future is for those who let AI handle routine tasks, freeing them to focus on amazing, human ideas that machines can't imagine.

Hello Zachary,
AI will not wipe out tech careers, but it will change what skills are valuable. Roles that involve problem solving, system design, security, and decision-making are far less likely to be replaced than routine coding tasks. Instead of choosing a “safe” career, focus on building strong fundamentals and the ability to work with AI tools.
The key is to move up the value chain and don’t just write code and understand real world use cases.
In short, AI won’t replace engineers but it will replace those who don’t adapt.
