What study tips should I use in College?
I am currently a senior in High school and in College, I am going to major in Nursing. I would like to find ways to study better, to get the most out of my coursework to better prepare myself for my future career as a Registered Nurse.

Hello; great question! Here are a few methods that worked for me:
-Make notes; perhaps on index cards. Yes, write on actual paper! Writing has been shown to improve retention of the material. “Typing”on a computer is not the same.
-Find a “study buddy” and quiz each other before an exam.
If you use AI to study, verify the information by referencing actual articles. (But what do I know…I graduated from Nursing School before computers were in use!)

I agree with writing your notes on paper. It helps with retention. The one thing that helped a lot when I was in nursing school was buying one of those NCLEX study guide books. It breaks down and summarizes impt information for each system. Its a great study tool. :)
