Lyann’s Answer

A 10th-grade student interested in trade school should include their education, relevant classes, skills, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, and any part-time jobs or hands-on experience.

Example:

"As a 10th-grade student interested in trade school, I would include my current education, technical or vocational classes, skills such as teamwork and problem-solving, school activities, volunteer experience, and any hands-on projects or part-time work that demonstrate responsibility and interest in a trade career."

Katia’s Answer

You should sign up for activities and classes that help you build skills that are useful for trade jobs. For example, team collaboration skills are valuable to have in trade jobs because you usually work as part of a team, whether it is at a construction site, a car shop, or other type of environment. Also, try to learn some skills related to the trade you're interested in. For example, you can apply for a volunteer job at the place that has jobs you're interested in or sign up at a local school for one class.
After you finish the volunteer jobs or the classes, add them to your resume.
