How do I balance academics, extracurriculars, internships, and working on campus?

Time management was something I thought I had down. Since arriving at college, I have learned that managing my time is a lot harder than I initially thought.

1. Take care of your sleep and diet. Getting enough rest and eating well keeps your nervous system healthy. Always put your health first and don't skip doctor's visits. By looking after your mind, body, and spirit, you'll avoid burnout and be ready to lead and enjoy all your activities with a clear mind.

2. Aim for good grades and connect with your professors. You've worked hard to get to college, so make the most of it! Visit tutorials and office hours, even if you understand the material, as professors can offer extra help for exams. Social events are important, but prioritize your study time to stay prepared.

3. Set up a budget. If you need a part-time job, a budget will show you how much money you need to cover expenses and save. This way, you can balance work hours with other activities and still reach your goals.

4. Network during your internships. Build strong relationships with your manager and team because they might help you find a job later. Also, connect with others in the company to learn about different roles and expand your network.
