Is it better to take a gap year after undergraduate school or continuing with graduate programs. How do you know the medical path way you're taking is the best one as an undergraduate?

Great job on planning for your future! There are two main paths to consider for graduate school:
Option 1 - Go straight to graduate school after finishing your undergraduate studies.
Benefits:
1. You'll find it easier to keep up with studying since you're already in the habit.
2. Your recent knowledge will still be fresh in your mind.
3. You'll finish your education sooner, getting a head start on your career.
Option 2 - Take a break or gap year after your undergraduate studies and start graduate school later.
Benefits:
1. You'll start graduate school feeling more refreshed and ready.
2. This time off can help you figure out your career goals through short-term jobs or volunteering, giving you valuable real-life experience.
Both choices have their own advantages and challenges.
Wishing you the best as you decide and move forward with your career!
