Hi Gabriella! Going away for college can be challenging no matter where your school is at and then being far from home can make it feel even harder. But be assured that this experience you're going into is such a great growth opportunity and there will be a lot of people in a similar situation to relate to. Do your best to get to know as many people as you can, stay involved in activities, and talk through any moments you are missing home with someone you trust. You could bring pictures of your friends and family to have in your dorm/space and items that feel like home to help you feel comfortable. Make your new place cozy and somewhere you feel happy!
