Hello! It's great that you're considering your options. There's no one-size-fits-all answer, but think about what suits you and your goals best. I finished my degree before starting a full-time job, and after some work experience, I understood my career goals better. This helped me decide what I wanted to study further. I worked and studied at the same time, which was challenging but rewarding. If you prefer, you can take a break from work to focus on your studies. And remember, it's perfectly okay to take your time and not rush into anything.

To succeed, it's important to manage your time well. Think about whether you're more productive in the morning or at night, and consider your job's demands. Focus fully on your job while at work, and set aside dedicated time to study either before or after work. When studying, try not to think about work. Giving your full attention to each task helps you perform at your best.
If your workload is high, consider asking for part-time hours while you prepare for exams. Alternatively, you might choose to delay a subject until the next semester if work is taking up too much of your time.

Hi Isabella,
The fact that you are trying to balance work withs tudying says that you are responsible and determined. Great qualities for anyone, so you should feel proud.
I believe that whatever you do, you should do with focus. What I mean by that is, when you are at work, focus on work. When you are studying, focus on that. If you get fixed amount of time for breaks such as lunch breaks, you can choose to study during those times.
However, carving out specific hours for studying every day, will build consistency & make it a predictable schedule for you. This will show results over time as you can plan what you will cover during that time without being interrupted by work or any other distraction.
For most individuals, studying in the morning after a good night's rest is very effective as your brain is energized and ready to go. If you choose to study in the morning & get your assignments done, you will probably be more relaxed at work as well.
I am personally a late night person as I feel I can focus when it is quiet after all my chores and other responsibilities for the day are done. Pick what works best for you and your work schedule. Being consistent is key. If for any reason you are not able to study on a given day, make up for it the next day. Do not procrastinate and leave a lot of studying to right before a test or exam.
If possible, get a support system around you. This could be other students like you who are juggling work and studies. You can form a study group & study together - even if you are not taking the same classes. This will keep everyone in the group accountable.
Speak to your employer if you are comfortable doing so, letting them know when exams or critical assignments are due, so that you can get some flexibility with your work schedule.
Take it slow and steady - you don't have to do everything at once. Be sure to prioritize your health and well-being by ensuring you are getting enough sleep at night, eating healthy & staying physically fit.
You've got this! Good luck!
