When managing and trying to balance homework/classes, how do you find time to meet new people/join clubs and have days for yourself ?

I love meeting new people and joking fun activities but always struggle with finding time for that and myself. I want to prioritize my academics but don’t want to overwhelm myself too much to the point where I forget about myself.

Try setting aside some time each week for yourself and your hobbies. It doesn't have to feel forced. Enjoy a few hours doing what you love and meeting new people. You can also plan fun activities with your coworkers and students since you all share common interests.

Kimberly’s Answer

Set aside specific blocks for homework, classes, clubs, and downtime so you are not trying to fit everything in at once. Joining one or two activities that genuinely interest you makes it easier to meet people without overcommitting, and keeping at least one day or part of a day open for yourself helps avoid burnout. The main trade-off is that you may not be able to do everything, so focus on the things that matter most to you.
