What should I think about when choosing between CSU's and UC's for film major?

Hello! I am an upcoming senior (Class of 2027) and I am deciding between CSU's and UC's for film major. I have heard that CSU's offer more hands-on work which is what I prefer, while UC's are more research based.

However, I do care about prestige as well. What kind of factors should I consider and how can I pin point what is the best?

Some film roles I am curious and interested in are directors and producers because I have creative ideas in mind that I want to bring alive.
