What should I think about when choosing between CSU's and UC's for film major?
Hello! I am an upcoming senior (Class of 2027) and I am deciding between CSU's and UC's for film major. I have heard that CSU's offer more hands-on work which is what I prefer, while UC's are more research based. However, I do care about prestige as well. What kind of factors should I consider and how can I pin point what is the best? Some film roles I am curious and interested in are directors and producers because I have creative ideas in mind that I want to bring alive.

Is it a mix of all equally? All of the above but one more than the others? I know all of them are important in the film industry, but I was just wondering what I should focus on the most throughout art school. I have a pretty strong artistic style and direction(s), so maybe I should work more on networking to gain connections and experience?

I am a sophomore in high school in Wisconsin but looking to move to LA and attend film school while working internships after graduation. If I have two very different career paths in mind, how should I find a way to choose between them? Should I try to balance them even though it's unrealistic?
I have two very different career paths in mind. I'd like to be an intelligence officer or a THINKTANK, but I also want to pursue a job in the film industry. I have knacks for both political science and acting/direction. I'm not sure what to do, because choosing one would most likely mean not getting to do the other. What should I do? How should I choose?
