Earning over $100,000 a year is an achievable goal, but it usually comes from developing valuable skills, gaining experience, or building a successful business over time. A great first step is to research careers in your city and look at their average salaries. This can help you identify jobs that align with your interests and determine what level of education or training is required.
Many careers that require a bachelor's degree, such as engineering, nursing, accounting, computer science, finance, and sales, can lead to six-figure incomes with experience. Skilled trades and service businesses, such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, or owning a landscaping or construction company, can also exceed $100,000, especially if you own the business.
Whatever path you choose, focus on becoming excellent at your craft, continue learning, and build strong relationships with mentors and colleagues. Consistently delivering value is often what leads to greater opportunities and higher earnings over time.

Without any context. The fastest entry would be doing retail arbitrage a.k.a. flipping a.k.a. buy something at a very low cost and selling it for 2x, 3x, etc. Stack that on top of possibly ride share driving (if you're at the driving age). Stack that with other side hustles. As long as you're determined, you'll figure out ways to get to that $100k. Of course getting a job and career are the other methods, but if I was back as a student in high school, I'd rather go hunting for those items that I can flip on a selling app versus taking up a part-time job (I had a part-time job and it was tough work for not a lot of money).
The biggest thing you'll learn from this is that it's completely on you to go do the work of hunting for those items. It's on you to go do the thing, otherwise you won't have anything to turn around for a profit. You won't see any movement towards your goal of $100k because you didn't go do the work. You'll learn a lot of things along the way as well, that you can add to skill set. You'll learn some fundamentals of business. You'll learn the fundamentals of negotiation. You'll learn the fundamentals of social interactions. You'll learn pattern recognition as you continue to meet strangers. You'll learn how to take "no" or "L"s early so that they don't break you when you're older.
It's not always about being book smart and doing it the traditional way. You have to be self-aware and do what works for you. Go all in on your strengths. You can always fix the weakness as you move through your journey. If you "take the path that most have travelled", you have blueprints to follow. If you "take the least path travelled", you'll gain more knowledge from those lessons that will shape the blueprint that YOU will create for others to follow. You'll learn that if you truly put your mind to it, you have the ability to create your reality and your future.

Hi Joshua,
You can definitely earn over $100,000 a year, especially through entrepreneurship. The key is how you think about it. When you aim to offer the best service, you'll reach your financial goals faster. Chase excellence, and the money will chase you.
Whether you reach that income level or shift directions depends on your steps and your mindset. Focus on building skills, creating value, and choosing a path where your work can scale. Learn the ins and outs of whatever craft or industry interests you. Sell your services, not yourself. Build a portfolio, master customer service, network intentionally, and maintain a high standard of quality in everything you do.
Remember, where attention goes, energy flows and something has to grow. Money flows from people, so prioritize customer satisfaction. Create value, the money follows.
Best of Luck!
