During medical rotations in med-school, is laboratory pathology one of the rotation places?

No. While there is a class on pathology, it is not one of the required clinical rotations in medical school. However, if you are interested in this field, you can use your elective time to do a pathology rotation.

I agree with Kristen. Another option for someone who thinks they may be interested in Pathology is to do an extra year in the middle of medical school -it's called a Post-Sophomore Fellowship in Pathology. Not all medical schools offer it. After a year of Pathology, you will have a very good idea of whether or not Pathology is for you!
