Maggie’s Answer

Personally, some of my best memories of high school and college come from my final year at each. You've achieved so much and the future is bright. While you may already have something lined up for post-high school, try to remember that discipline will take you far. If you stay motivated and continue to work towards the end goal now, then you will have momentum to continue your success in college. In addition, while it may not seem like it now, each day in high school is preparing you for college or something that you will face down the road. Try to view it in that light and you may find more purpose in each day.

Hi Brenna,

Congrats on making it to the end of Senior year! To avoid senioritis you should stay focused on where your accomplishments are taking you next and try to think about what you can do in this period to prepare for the next step of college or your career. If you're starting college next year, start brainstorming a major or researching what classes you want to enroll in. Or start networking and meet older students and hear about their experience.

Finish Strong!

Thank you comment icon Thank you! Graduation is SO close, haha Brenna

You have to keep your eye on where you are going, rather than where you have been. It's not the end of a journey, it is the beginning. Messing up the beginning can have consequences!

Lesly’s Answer

Senioritis can undoubtedly be a challenge, but remember, you are not alone - I've been there too! Embrace the power of prioritization and organization to bring clarity to your daily tasks. Revel in the joy of each small victory, recognizing that they are stepping stones to your ultimate success. Establish SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) to help you map out a clear, actionable path forward.

Remember, the journey is just as important as the destination, so take time to focus on yourself, practicing self-care and nurturing your passions. Keep the flame of motivation burning bright by staying inspired with positive affirmations and visualizing the future you. Cultivate an unwavering sense of optimism, believing that even the most challenging times can lead to valuable growth and progress.

Never underestimate the importance of your support system – lean on friends, family, and mentors for encouragement and guidance. And don't forget to schedule breaks, allowing yourself to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance. You've got this!
