The day to day life depends on which setting you choose to work in. A PT will do all of the evaluations and discharges of patients as well as progress notes. In each setting you will arrive at work and review your patient caseload for the day. If there are new patients you will review their charts and history before their treatment session. You will do reviews of paperwork for your PTAs and discuss patients with them and their progress. Paperwork is a big part of the job. Each patient will have documentation. On top of that you will have progress notes to do on the patients your PTAs are seeing.
