What kind of school would I need to go to for cosmetology?

I am 16 years old and a Junior in high school. I like to do and try different hairstyles on my sisters and my niece. I have always done my sisters hair growing up. #cosm #cosmetology

Check in your town to see if you have a local beauty school. If not there are programs through technical colleges for cosmetology that you can go to and in most situations, can complete in a year or less and they will help you prepare for the state boards which you are going to need to pass in order to get your license. Most beauty schools will not accept financial aide for the program, however if you look into going to a local technical college, you will be able to possibly get financial aide to help you with the cost of school.
