In elementary and middle school there is often a school nurse that takes care of students. In the university setting, a student health center staffed with doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses cares for the students.

We as healthcare providers often do not prioritize our own health. Students are at higher risk given the sleep deprivation and the added stress. Nurse practitioners are the perfect healthcare providers to help students as they have been through the rigorous path students are currently on. Furthermore, they are holistic healers and you as the patient will benefit from the personalized and compassionate care you receive. Hope this helps.
