Karen’s Answer

The best part about teaching young children is knowing that you made a difference in the life of a child! You may not always be aware of the impact you have on your students which can affect their future. Some kids thrive on attention, especially if they don't get that at home. The little things you do in making them feel wanted and loved teaches them that they are special.

Your joys may come from a hug or a kind word. What they learn from you is important. Keep in mind that they may not always remember what you said or did but they will remember how you made them feel.

Teaching can be your legacy so that at the end of your life you will know that your life mattered.

With every good wish!

Gobinath’s Answer

Teaching young minds would be both exciting as well as challenging. Having tender brains, children would be able to grasp all the experiences around them instantly. As the children explore the world more through more than 3 senses, they would attempt to reflect on their learning. Anyone can establish rapport with them well as they don't know to judge others by their behavior. They can he shaped up easily right from the young age to be more productive, helpful and successful. Children won't be selfish as tiny tots but they will only have self love in order to get the lead a joyful and happy life.

Nina’s Answer

There is not enough room to truly answer this question, so I will try to keep is short; if you absolutely get a kick out of little kids, then it is just magical! The love young ones have for learning, their love period, is what makes it so great! Seeing early learners connect the dots and feel good about themselves is a pure joy. When working with struggling young learners, helping them build confidence in their individuality and empowering them to use their skills independently is second to none. Drying a tear, solving a problem and giving a hug is something they remember. And if they make a mistake, being there for them feels right - it feels oh so right to them and helps them feel ok about themselves. When you help young children learn to trust, and believe in others and themselves they grow; and as they grow, they will internalize the skills because you are someone they can count on. It is as much about the personal as it is the academics with the little ones . And, as you go down the road of a teaching career, you will find that they are your best teachers as well.

Terry’s Answer

Children are very dependent on others to care , nurture, and teach them. They are like busy bees buzzing around learning about all there is to know about life. Their mind is like a sponge and it absorbs information effortlessly. It is an adult's duty to give the children the tools they need to be happy and successful in life. It is a pleasure getting to know each child. Not only are they extremely cute, but they are unique and impressionable and it is an important time to instill in them values. The best part of teaching is when you feel that they are understanding and growing in their knowledge. You can help create a fun, enriched environment with lots of books, games, toys, and tools where can safely explore, be creative and develop their interests and knowledge. They are learning manners, how to read, how to make friends and how to share. These same principles are important as we grow up and become adults. It is important for each child to start out in life knowing they are loved and their feelings matter.
