Engineering is a very rewarding and creative field!

It would be helpful for you to pick some schools and talk to the alumni relations person at those schools to see what their graduates area doing and see how that matches with what you might have in mind about engineering.
Also talk to your math and science teachers to see how they see you fitting into engineering and which schools that they might recommend that would be best for you. Also, have them arrange for you to talk to engineers they know so that you can see what they do and where they do it and how you see yourself fitting into that world and career.
