Eli’s Answer

I wouldn't know as I've been an American citizen since I was born, but the amount of time you spend here varies depending on where you live, what you do professionally and whichever information you give in to the government.
Thank you comment icon Hi agree with Eli. Everyone's circumstance is different. There is no set timeline for everybody. Gina Cardosi

Rajesh’s Answer

Your question is very vague but I'll share my experience. If the question is about how long does it take to get permanent residency (also referred to as Green Card) in US, it can vary anywhere from 1 year to over 20 years! The duration depends on which category is paperwork filed in, the reason for filing permanent residency application and how quickly all steps are completed, including providing information requested by USCIS. Another factor that impacts the duration is the applicant's country of birth (not where they grew up or came from).

Raad’s Answer

Well, your Q is vague but if you mean the Immigration process, then it depends on the country you're going to. Usually, the accreditation process of your qualifications & passing the pool of competition takes the longest time.
