What are the best locations in the US for bioengineers or biomedical engineers?

Boston/Cambridge , San Diego, Minneapolis, and Western Michigan have some of the larger concentrations of medical technology companies that would offer biomedical engineering positions.

Absolutely agreed- the US is populated with hubs or centers where there are lots of companies of varying sizes. California, Boston, Minneapolis are main hubs but you can certainly find smaller companies in smaller areas.

Research areas that you would like to consider and keep those cities on the list. Remember there is more to life than just work, so you'll want to make sure you like the city you're working in too!
