Hi Sowmiya!
Are you asking about the degree(s) you need to get a job in information technology sales, and/or auditing? I'm trying to get a better understanding of what information you're hoping to get from professionals on CareerVillage so that we can do our best to get you great advice!

Gaurav’s Answer

Sowmya: Both skills are and career choices are great and I dont see any of them going away any time soon. You have to make choice what do you like to explore best and if you like it. you have lot of years and time ahead of you to try both of them and see for yourself what do you like and make decision based of it.

Edmond’s Answer

Being in compliance and audit here's my take: IT Audit.

Let's take as an example we want to audit the computer systems in a company. We will meet the team who are in charge of computers and ask them the following:
1) List your daily tasks and responsibilities are?
2) Show me how you do what you're doing
3) How do you know you're doing a good job?
The third question is fundamental as it validates what they're doing against the company policy and related rules/regulations.

As for a degree, according to Infosec Institute (ref below), a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science or related field.

I would suggest checking out the non-profit ISACA (www.isaca.org) and attend one of their local monthly meetings where you are (there are many in India) or you can attend online. They are the primary source of anything related to IT and IT risk.
